He was simply choosing to shave it.

That he liked being called slaphead.

It was so good she invited friends over for dinner.

Offering up a stack of shortbread.

They were the good sort of friends

So they jumped on board.

They got addicted to shortbread too.

Stocks for shortbread dwindled.

Debbie Ham found herself having to travel great distances to fulfil her desires.

Hank regretted the decision to sell his house and secretly moved into the attic.

At night when the new owners slept he would climb down.

Make himself comfortable on the couch and reminisce.

And adjust the furniture back to how he liked it.

Chad's imaginary girlfriend was getting on his nerves.

He was starting to hate the woman.

And women.

He lacked the imagination to change her.

He figured they must all be like that.

He grew some muscles and started a podcast.

He wanted to find out what life was like inside a prison.

After a short stay he went off the idea.

He was trying to explain this to the guards.

They were not listening.

Duncan searched for work as a banjo player. 

His parents were a constant distraction. 

They'd point out he could have continued the family tradition. 

That he could have been a doctor like them.

Instead of studying the banjo.

Daisy questioned him.

She asked why he didn't dig up some local rocks for free.

Ronald shrugged.

He went back to looking at his rocks.

Alfred fiddled with ornaments and things,

Keeping himself busy.

Working overtime again.

Waiting for Batman to take the damn suit so it could go in the wash.

In and out of Ethel (naked but more interesting to look at).

She was beautiful.

With eyes that looked like they were looking at things.

And hair to make her head look hairy.

He noticed she started taking the bus more frequently.

He smiled as their conversations deepened.

Named Donald.

Tried to sue Disney.

Lost.

And was ordered to start wearing trousers.

He found the ordeal tedious.

He went back to his old hobbies.

And added a couple more to make up for his mistake.

Jason bought a submarine and took it to the beach. 

He approached women.

Asking if they'd like a ride in his submarine. 

They all reject his advances. 

The denials were too much.

Jason went to sea alone.

He started crying.

He wished he had come up with a better way of meeting women.

He worried about filling the submarine with his tears.

'Look at the state of her!'

He was drunk,

Of course.

Peter's gang was there too.

Laughing along,

Also drunk,

As you'd expect.

For a brief moment he had forgotten they were married.

The night continued on with an air of uncertainty.
