The one-eyed poet struggled with his work
He fumbled around trying to connect pen and paper
His ideas vanished as he jabbed his arms and legs and desks with the nib of his pen

Cyclops (the one from the X-Men) forgot his visor and those red glasses he likes to wear

He had to keep his eyes closed all day otherwise he'd accidentally blast holes in things

Professor X kept rolling over his feet due to Cyclops's unpredictable walking patterns

Children were pulling faces and gesticulating discourtesies in front of his back

A man, blind, wakes from slumber.
Night's alcohol still wreaks havoc.
He fumbles for the bedroom door.
A right turn would carry him towards his bathroom.
Ground disappears from beneath him.
At this moment he recalls meeting a woman.
The base of two flights of stairs now house his smashed up innards.
